Starter terms for use of the ONYX Discord bot and related services.

1. Agreement

By inviting, accessing, or using ONYX (the “Service”), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use ONYX for a server or organization, you confirm that you are authorized to configure it for that community.

2. Discord and eligibility

You must be permitted to use Discord and comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Community Guidelines, and applicable policies. ONYX is independent and is not endorsed by or affiliated with Discord Inc. Discord platform functions remain subject to Discord’s rules and availability.

3. Acceptable use

You may not use ONYX to violate laws or platform rules, harass or threaten others, facilitate fraud, distribute malicious content, evade moderation, or interfere with the Service. You may not exploit bugs, attempt unauthorized access, disrupt hosting, or misuse commands and permissions.

4. Server administration

Server owners and administrators are responsible for choosing settings, assigning permissions, configuring moderation actions, and ensuring staff use tools appropriately. Review role hierarchy and permissions before enabling automated actions. ONYX cannot guarantee every moderation or security event will be detected or handled correctly.

5. Data and progression

ONYX may process information needed for leveling, Prestige progression, tokens, cosmetic inventory, server configuration, moderation, and logging. See the Privacy Policy for further details. Progression, rewards, and feature behavior may change as the Service evolves.

6. Availability and changes

The Service is evolving. Features may be changed, suspended, limited, or discontinued, and downtime may occur for maintenance or circumstances outside the operator’s control.

7. Suspension

Access may be restricted or terminated if use violates these Terms, creates a security or operational risk, or is harmful to the Service or its users. Server administrators may remove the bot at any time.

8. Disclaimers

To the extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or fitness for a particular purpose. Nothing excludes rights that cannot legally be excluded.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, the operator will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the Service. This does not limit liability where prohibited by law.

10. Changes and contact
